Welcome to the Best of the Green & Gold
The Green & Gold Online is published by The Grier School's Journalism Class, where students work on video and print media projects.
Welcome to the first "best of" issue since Journalism Class took the student newspaper to the internet four years ago. This year's student editors, Carley, Susan and Jessica, have chosen writing that they think best represent the life and times at Grier during the past few years. We hope that regular readers as well as newcomers to "The G&G" have a rewarding experience with this special issue. Stay tuned for the regular fall issue, coming in late November.

After debating the pros and cons of an Internet publication, Journalism Class decides that there are many benefits to going on line—primarily, reaching a large number of families and alumnae with the writing and creative work of the Grier community. We attach the publication to the home page of the school website. Here is Mrs. Hollnagel's humorous piece on spring in Birmingham.
